UPSSSC

UPSSSC (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission) was established by State Government of Uttar Pradesh through an ordinance in 1988, for all the recruitments of Group ‘C’ posts as may be specified by the State Government by notification in this behalf. The UPSSSC (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission) is the state organization authorized to conduct the various examination for appointments to the various posts. UPSSSC conducts various exams in the Uttar Pradesh.

UPSSSC 2019 Vacancies

UPSSSC has released a total of 672 number of vacancies for post of Lower Subordinate Services, out of which, 94 vacancies for the post of Asst. Chakbandi Adhikari, 151 vacancies for the post of Supply Inspector, 11 vacancies for the post of District Information Officer, 26 vacancies for the post of Rajasva Nirikshak, 194 vacancies for the post of Marketing Inspector, 89 vacancies for the post of Forest Inspector and 107 vacancies for the post of Executive Officer.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSSSC

There are a set of expected eligibility criteria that you should qualify to apply for UPSSSC Recruitment 2019.


  1. Age Limit

For Information Officer,

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 years


For Other Posts,

  • Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 years


Age Relaxation

  • SC/ ST : 5 years
  • OBC : 3 years
  • Physically Handicapped : 10 years
  • Physically Handicapped + OBC : 13 years
  • Physically Handicapped + SC/ ST : 15 years


  1. Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must possess BE/ B. Tech. Engineering Degree for Relevant post.
  • Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as UPSSSC exam is conducted online.
  • Language Proficiency: Qualification of Hindi is essential for the posts. For this purpose, all the candidates must have passed Hindi of atleast Matriculation or its equivalent level upto the date of document checking.

UPSSSC Exam Pattern

UPSSSC conducts its various exams in two phases: Paper – 1 and Paper – 2.

Paper – 1 is an Objective Based Written Exam. Paper – 1 contains 4 sections, which are of 300 marks and have 150 questions. The composite time duration of 2 hours is allocated to complete this exam.

Paper – 2 is also an Objective Based Written Exam. Paper – 2 is further divided into 2 parts, and these two parts contains 2 sections each. Part – 1 and part – 2 contains 100 questions and carries 200 marks each, which makes the total of paper – 2 of 400 marks. The time duration for each part will be of 1 Hour & 30 Minutes respectively.

UPSSSC Paper – 1/ Prelims

Paper – 1 or Prelims Exam will be a Written Test. The written test will be Multiple Choice Objective Type. Paper – 1 contains 4 sections, General Intelligence Test, General Knowledge, General Science/ Arithmetic and General Hindi, which will carry 300 Marks and 150 Questions respectively.The composite time duration will be of 2 hours.There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks. Paper – 1 / Preliminary Exam will be of Qualifying Nature.

UPSSSC Paper – 2/ Mains

Paper – 2 or Mains Exam will be a Written Test. The written test will be Multiple Choice Objective Type. Paper – 2 is divided into 2 parts.Part 1 contains 2 sections, which are General Intelligence Test and General Knowledge, which will be of 200 Marks and carry 100 Questions.Part 2 also contains 2 sections, namely General Science/ Arithmetic and General Hindi will be of 200 Marks and carry 100 Questions. The total of Paper – 2 is 400 marks from both these parts.The time duration for each part will be of 1 Hour & 30 Minutes respectively.There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks.
