National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has released NABARD 2019 Recruitment Notification to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ & Manager in Grade ‘B’.

Job Profile & Vacancies of Grade ‘A’ and Grade ‘B’ Officer in NABARD

There are a set of job roles for the post of NABARD Grade ‘A’ and Grade ‘B’ Officer.

Here are some of the responsibilities of NABARD Grade ‘A’ Officers:

  • Carry out clerical/managerial/any other task assigned by the CGM.
  • Dealing with policy issues of various state and central government programs related to Agriculture & Rural development.
  • Liaison with Banking Industry and the State Government, which encompasses the activities in rural areas.
  • Work under the Manager & do clerical work.

Here are some of the responsibilities of NABARD Grade ‘B’ Officers:

  • Develop & Maintain relationships with customers.
  • Develop & approve bank loans.
  • Monitor accounting procedures followed by the bank.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the office and its employees.
  • Monitor several projects at the same time (multitasking).
  • Coordinate with other departments & facilitate inter-departmental assignments.

Eligibility Criteria for NABARD Grade ‘A’ & Grade ‘B’ Officer

There are a set of expected eligibility criteria that you should qualify to apply for NABARD Recruitment Exam.

  1. Age Limit
  • Minimum Age Limit : 21 years
  • Maximum Age Limit : 30 years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Physically Disabled: 10 years
  • Physically Disabled + OBC: 13 years
  • Physically Disabled + SC/ ST: 15 years
  1. Educational Qualification

For Grade ‘A’ Officers,

  • General: Bachelors' Degree in any stream from a recognized University with 50% marks.
  • Economics & Agriculture Economics: Bachelors'/ Masters' Degree in Economics or AG Economics with 50% marks.
  • Animal Husbandry & Dairy Technology: Bachelors’ / Masters’ Degree in Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science.
  • Land Development/ Agriculture: Bachelor / Master Degree in Agriculture with at Least Minimum 50% Marks.
  • AM Land Development/ Agriculture: Bachelor / Master Degree in Agriculture with at Least Minimum 50% Marks.
  • AM Finance: BBA / BMS OR MBA Degree with 50% Marks.
  • AM Food Processing: Bachelor / Master / Engineering Degree in Food Processing / Engineering with 50% Marks.
  • AM Forestry: Bachelor / Master Degree in Forestry with at Least Minimum 50% Marks.
  • AM Environmental: Bachelor / Master Degree in Environmental Engineering in Any Recognized University in India.
  • AM Land Development/ Soil Science: Bachelor / Master Degree in Agriculture / Soil Science / Agronomy with at Least Minimum 50% Marks.
  • AM Plantation & Horticulture: Bachelor Degree in Horticulture with at Least Minimum 50% Marks.

For Grade ‘B’ Officers,

  • General: Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Minimum 60% Marks or Master Degree with 55% Marks.


NABARD Grade ‘A’ & Grade ‘B’ Officer Exam Pattern & Syllabus

 

NABARD exam is conducted in 3 phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam & Interview Process.

Paper – 1/ Preliminary Exam is an Objective Based Online Mode Exam. This paper is divided into 7 sections, having a total of 200 questions of 200 marks and 120 minutes of composite time.

Paper – 2/ Mains Exam comprises of both Online Objective Test as well as Descriptive Test. This paper is divided into 3 sections, each is of 100 marks and has time of 90 minutes.

Interview is the final phase of selection.

Paper – 1/ Preliminary Exam is an Objective Based Online Mode Exam. This paper is divided into 7 sections, having a total of 200 questions of 200 marks and 120 minutes of composite time.
