The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) is the only institute that conducts competitive tests for entrance to various professional courses every year on a large scale. Job Profile and Vacancies for MP Patwari

Patwari is basically a village accountant who fulfills a variety of duties in his area of work. There are multiple posts of a Patwari. The work and responsibilities of a Patwari depends upon their post and department. So, let us sum up some of the roles and duties of Patwari employee and mention the extract of their duties. A Patwari has three chief duties:

  • The maintenance of record of the crop grown at every harvest.
  • The keeping of the record of rights up to date by the punctual record of mutations.
  • The account of preparation of statistical returns embodying the information derived from the harvest inspections, register of mutation and record of rights.

The MPPEB organization has introduced the total of 9235 vacancies for the post of MP Patwari according to different category, out of which, 5000 vacancies are for General, 1075 vacancies are for OBC, 1368 vacancies for SC and 1792 vacancies are for ST.

Eligibility Criteria for MP Patwari

There are a set of expected eligibility criteria that you should qualify to apply for MP Patwari Recruitment 2019.

  1. Age Limit
  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ ST : 5 years
  • OBC : 3 years
  • Physically Handicapped : 10 years
  • Physically Handicapped + OBC : 13 years
  • Physically Handicapped + SC/ST : 15 years
  1. Educational Qualification
  • Candidate should have 8/10th and 12th class mark sheet as well as a birth certificate. 
  • Candidate should possess graduation degree from any university.
  • It is compulsory to have CPCT Scorecard with Hindi typing and computer proficiency. If a candidate does not have CPCT scorecard, he/she can submit the same within 2 years of selection in the exam.
  1. Other Requirement
  • The candidates (Male/Female) who got married before their legal marriage age (Male - 21 & Female- 18) are not allowed to give MPPEB Patwari exam.
  • The candidates who got married instead of already having living husband/wife are considered invalid for MPPEB Patwari 2017 exam.
  • Those candidates having more than 2 children after 26-01-2001 are not allowed to appear for this exam.
  • Candidates involved in any court case are not allowed to give the exam.
  • Candidate should be mentally fit to give this exam.
  1. Physical Standard (Common Standard)
  • Male Height: 168 cm
  • Female Height: 152 cm
  • Race (male): 07 km in 60 min
  • Race (female): 3.5 km in 35 min
  • Five cms. relaxation in chest and height for hilly areas candidates.


MP Patwari Syllabus & Exam Pattern

MPPEB conducts Recruitment Exam for the post of MP Patwari. MPPEB conducts this exam only in one phase, i.e., Written Exam. The Final Selection will be based on a Merit List which will be prepared on the basis of the marks you obtain in your Written Exam. 

MP Patwari Written Exam

MP Patwari Written Exam is an Objective Based Exam. The questions are in form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam has 5 sections, Quantitative Aptitude, Hindi Language, General Knowledge, Computer Awareness and Rural Economy. The whole exam is of 100 marks which contains 100 questions and a time – duration of 120 minutes.
